The third Tanker Shipping & Trade Conference will take place in London in November 2016. Details of the event will be added over the coming months, if you would like to be kept informed of developments please send us your details here.
The Tanker Shipping and Trade conference and awards is a two day event that covers the commercial, technical and regulatory issues at the heart of safe and profitable tanker operations.
We know that each sector within the tanker industry has its own dynamics and operating environment. Day One is therefore focused on chemical and product tankers and Day Two on crude tankers. In this way delegates benefit from hearing essential market intelligence and technical presentations relating to the vessel type being covered that they can usefully apply in their business. The streamlined days also facilitate enhanced networking, each day is more productive so delegates make better use of their time.
The format of each day reflects a mix of case studies, interviews, panel debate and round table discussion. This keeps the information flowing and fresh, and more ground is covered.
The Tanker Shipping & Trade Awards recognise operational excellence, innovation, environmental performance and lifetime achievement across the tanker industry.
Befitting our focused setting and high-level audience, awards are not simply presented. Uniquely, shortlisted companies present their solutions - and answer questions from the audience. Our industry and lifetime achievers are present and share insights from their successful careers and then stay and mingle at the reception that immediately follows.
The event will mirror its official supporting publication, Tanker Shipping & Trade, in that it will address all the essential elements needed for commercially and technically successful tanker operations.
Programme development will be led by Tanker Shipping & Trade editor Edwin Lampert and devised in partnership with an industry advisory panel. This will ensure that the topics covered are relevant and address the industry's priorities.
Networking opportunities will be plentiful and following the presentation of the Tanker Shipping & Trade Awards there will be an evening reception.
